NID, Inc. is pleased to offer our own High Efficiency 2 HP Atomizer Motor for the OSB Industry.
The HE-2 is a specially designed motor that is the result of several years of research, development, and testing.

The HE-2 utilizes cutting edge technology and components that have resulted in a motor that is
over 25% more efficient than the standard EL-4 motor. This means our motor draws less amps to do the work.
So, it runs cooler and requires less cooling-air while having more power than conventional EL-4 atomizer motors.

For over 20 years we have been rebuilding, rewinding, and modifying EL-3 and EL-4 atomizer motors for mills throughout the U.S and Canada. We're very familiar with the temperature related problems associated with these motors as well as other various design issues. Our motor addresses these issues with a complete re-design including improved rotor and stator technology and materials resulting in the most efficient, reliable atomizer motor in the industry.

Service
Our basic motor rebuilding service includes
  • diagnostics, bearing replacement, cleaning, meg check, amp check, proper break-in procedure to full RPM.
  • Fast turn around. In most cases 1-2 days.

Our stator re-winding service includes
  • Upgrade to high temp inverter duty, spike resistant wire.
  • Available for EL-3 and EL-4 motors and NID motors.
